Project Description
Stainless Steel Honey Strainer Double Sieve
202 s/steel
304 s/steel
New honey strainer with a double sieve to progressively filter out debris. The double straining allows processing a smooth, consistently light-colored liquid that doesn’t solidify as quickly as unstrained honey. Made of Stainless Steel material and measuring roughly 9″ in diameter x 4″ deep. The arms extend to fit over your uncapping tank, 5-gallon bucket or pail.
The Double Sieve is made to rest on top of a Bottling Pail or other container and filters the honey twice in one pass. During the extracting process honey passes through the first screen which filters out the large pieces of wax and other debris. It then passes through the second screen which filters out the smaller debris. When the filter becomes clogged simply rinse it out, dry it off and it is ready to use again. The Double Sieve is made of stainless steel and has adjustable supports which collapse for storage. The first filter screen is removable for cleaning or if you just want to use the fine screen.
500 micron mesh filter and a 1000 micron mesh filter. They can be used individually or together providing two stages of filtration.
