Spure Wire Embedder
- This handy tool is used for embedding the wire into the foundation. This tool can be heated to help melt a bit of wax around the wire. Well worth the price if you’re installing beekeepers’ own wire.
- Use hand pressure to fasten wire in any foundation needing horizontal wires for added support. Roll the wide tooth spur points along each wire. May use warm (preferable) or cold.
- Embed wire into wax foundation by rolling the spur along the wire, pressing it into the wax. Heating the spur in boiling water will make it easier for the wire to be embedded.
- When cross wiring frames, use this tool to roll along the wire to embed it into the wax. It will perform best when slightly heated.
