Our deluxe uncapping system consists of 2 tubs that nest one inside of the other. They have the capacity to hold 70-80 lbs. of uncapped honey, and the bottom tub is equipped with a steel grate and a honey gate for bottling. Both tubs are made of a strong, durable plastic.

The frame positioning bar is placed across the top tank and the spike is used to stabilize one end of the frame prior to and during uncapping.  A queen excluder covers the opening in the bottom of the top tank and catches the cappings during the uncapping process.  Honey drains through the queen excluder and into the bottom tank.  Honey is then drained from the bottom tank using the honey gate.  When the uncapping process is finished place the lid on the top tank and allow the cappings to drain for as long as you wish.  With this system it is possible to uncap, drain the cappings, and collect the honey at the same time.  Turn two empty honey supers on there sides and place the Deluxe Uncapping Tub Kit on top and it is at he perfect working height.
