It fits through a 1-3/4 in. hole and comes with a plastic nut to keep it tightly sealed. A metal wing nut holds the gate opening securely in place and allows you to control when the honey flows. This gate will fit all our extractors.
Ideal for installing in a 50lbs pail to make a bottling tank.
Fill the pail, allow to ‘stand’ for 24 hours which will allow the bubbles and foam to rise, then using the honey gate run off crystal clear honey.
