NUC Solid Bottom Board
This solid bottom board is a replacement part for your nuc box. The term “nuc” is short for nucleus colony, which is a small colony with a few thousand bees and a queen. Nuc boxes are versatile to have on hand; you can use nuc boxes to raise your own queens, for catching a swarm, or removing bees from an oversized colony to prevent swarming.
- Solid bottom board designed to fit standard 5-frame nuc boxes
- Made from 1/2-in. exterior plywood
- Tongue-and-groove white pine rails
- Allows for 7/8-in. opening on one side, 3/8-in. on other side
- Comes pre-assembled
Now you can repair your nuc box instead of replace. This solid bottom board is made from one-piece 1/2-in. exterior plywood with tongue-and-groove white pine rails. This allows for a 7/8-in. opening on one side and a 3/8-in. opening on the other. Comes pre-assembled. Fits with 5-frame nuc boxes. Entrance reducer not included.
