• This rugged, portable, water resistant digital refractometer is versatile enough to fit most applications
• Optical instrument that employs a simple and quick measurement of refractive index to display the sugar content in samples
• After a simple calibration with deionized or distilled water, place a few drops of the sample in the well and press the READ key; within seconds the instrument measures the refractive index of the sample and converts it to % Brix concentration units
• Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) feature allows for accurate measurements any time, anywhere, regardless of temperature
• Operated by a single 9 volt battery (included) capable of powering approximately 5000 readings
• Temperature (in °C or °F) is displayed simultaneously with Brix measurement on the large, dual level display, along with other helpful message codes
