8 Way bee Escape plastic
- This Bee Escape board is an excellent way to clear our the honey super before the harvest. Place the board (with round yellow escape facing down) between the brood chamber and honey super. Allow up to 24 hours for bees to clear out and then remove honey super
- As with the round escape the centrally mounted 8-way escape provides excellent egress from the honey supers with minimal re-entry. Easy to fix in the middle of the board, and the shear size of the escape means it is very forgiving if the hole you cut isn’t quite perfect. A popular choice.
This handy escape can be temporarily affixed to your inner cover and it actually works. Bees find their way out of supers through any of eight escape paths, but cannot get back into the honeysuper. Works as well as a wooden bee escape with both 8-frame and 10-frame woodenware.
